Every session with us is a personalized experience, tailored to your family's unique story. We believe in creating an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility, allowing your newborn to be themselves while we expertly document the beauty of their early days. From carefully selected props to soft, natural lighting, and even the occasional portable heater we strive to bring out the pure, authentic charm of your little one in each frame.

As a parent, too, Kiera Marie understands the joy, excitement, and sometimes the whirlwind of emotions that accompany the arrival of a newborn. Our goal is not just to capture photographs but to create cherished heirlooms that tell the story of your family's love, growth, and the miracle of new life.

We drive to YOU, within a 45-minute drive around Murfreesboro, TN. There is a $20 non-refundable scheduling fee due at booking, but is deducted from your total cost. Because of this, you may cancel and/or reschedule at any time.

What to Expect During Your Newborn Photography Shoot

1. Preparation and Consultation: Schedule a consultation with the parents before the shoot to discuss their preferences, expectations, and any specific ideas they may have. Plan the logistics, including the date, time, and location of the session.

2. Create a Comfortable Setting: On day of the session, ensure the shooting location is warm and comfortable for the newborn. Maintain a cozy atmosphere to keep the baby relaxed, even if the adults are getting warm.

3. Gather Essential Props and Equipment: Select a variety of soft blankets, wraps, and props to enhance the aesthetic of the photos. Ensure all camera equipment, including lenses, lighting, and any additional accessories, is in working order. We will position soft, diffused lighting to create a gentle and flattering ambiance. We will be mindful of the newborn's sensitive eyes and avoid harsh or direct lighting.

4. Safety First: Prioritize the safety and well-being of the newborn at all times. Have a spotter or assistant present to help with positioning and to ensure the baby is secure.

5. Capture Candid Moments: Start the session by capturing natural, candid moments of the newborn, including yawns, stretches, and facial expressions. Encourage parents to interact with their baby for genuine and heartwarming shots.

6. Posed Portraits: Move on to carefully posed shots, using a variety of props and backgrounds. We are patient and allow time for breaks, feedings, and diaper changes as needed.

7. Details and Close-Ups: Focus on capturing close-ups of tiny fingers, toes, and other adorable details at different angles to highlight the newborn's unique features.

8. Post-Processing: After the shoot, we will select the best images for editing and perform basic touch-ups, ensuring a consistent and polished look for the final gallery.

9. Gallery Presentation: We will create an online gallery for the parents to review and download their images. You will receive a link to your online gallery within 3 to 4 weeks after the shoot. Please review our policy for more information.
